OPEN HOUSE

The Pavement Striper, Road Slurry, Seal Coat & Highway Maintenance Apprenticeship program will conduct a 3 day Open House which begins on Monday, August 05, 2024 at 8:00am SHARP – you will be turned away if you are late. Attendance is mandatory for all 3 days. Anyone interested in becoming a Parking & Highway Apprentice is welcome to attend. Slots are limited! Only the first 40 applicants will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. (We are no longer registering applicants prior to the Open House). Please keep in mind that this is a 3 day minimum application process.

The Open House consists of the following:

1. Orientation – (Day 1)
2. Written Exam – (Day 1)
3. Physical Agility Test – (Day 1 & 2)
4. Drug Test – (Day 2)
5. Oral Interview – (Day 3)**

Those interested in attending MUST bring:
– Valid Drivers’ License
– Current DMV Report(Highly Recommended: No More than 1 point on Record)
– Sealed Transcripts or Original U.S. High School Diploma / GED
– Social Security Card or any other approved Document / ID

These required documents must be in hand as you enter the door. Anyone without any one of the above items will not be allowed to continue with their application.

Workwear, comfortable shoes, long pants, a long-sleeved shirt, and drinking water are highly recommended as testing may take the majority of the day. Shorts, capris & open-toed shoes are not allowed.

**Oral Interview Schedules are made at the end of Day 2. Your interview time and date may not necessarily be on the very next day. Please make sure to keep your schedule open during the whole week of Open House**
